How to take care of your health in pregnancy

During pregnancy, it is very important to take care of the pregnant lady property. She should be completely fit, not only physically but mentally also. In this stage, lady’s body goes through number of continuous changes, so it is necessary to provide proper nutrition and attention to the lady’s health. Any mistake or carelessness can be harmful for both, mother as well as child. Here are some tips for taking proper care of the lady.
Observe changes in the lady properly, as already told, the mother’s body goes through excessive changes, so it is necessary to observe these changes and inform the doctor properly. It is very important in inform doctor each and every detail so that he can refer medicines properly.
Keep your body active, mother should keep her body active, regular exercise is recommended. Although increasing belly and body pains make it difficult to do exercise but still some easy exercise is recommended, but they should not go for heavy exercise or games, these small exercises make the process of delivery easy and safe, it helps in losing your weight after delivery and it also helps in post-delivery recovery.
Sleep for excessive hours, make sure that lady is not compromising in her sleep, she should sleep for at least nine to ten hours. Try to sleep in afternoon also. Waking up in the mid night and walking for 10 minutes will be very beneficial as it removes morning sickness.
Prenatal care is one of the most important step, make sure you some experienced prenatal care physician who can check her on regular basis, as observing her on regular basis is very important. It helps to keep a check on mother as well as child’s health. So that if any complications are observed, it can be solved before any problem. At least once in a week visit is recommended.
Proper intake of supplements is also very important, during pregnancy, at least 600 mgs intake of vitamins is necessary. So make sure proper check on supplements intake is necessary, although it is bit difficult but it is excessively helpful. A prenatal supplement contains folic acid as well as iron which are very helpful in proper development of fetus.
Keep a proper check on the weight, although pregnant lady gains excessive weight, but still it is very important to keep a regular check on the weight gain because there is a limit for weight gain for the mother depending on the body type and BMI. Excessive increase in weight may result in some problems for the mother during delivery.
Make sure you are having proper meal, consult your doctor, ask for the diet chart, and make sure you are following that diet chart as body’s requirement increases at that period. In addition, mother should not go for dieting, doctors say: eat excessive fruits and vegetable in which there is high quantity of vitamin C and get plenty of protein & calcium.

It is necessary for family members to take care of the pregnant lady, they should make sure that there is no carelessness. So that both of them, mother as well as child, both of them stay fit and the mother should have safe delivery. Stay fit and take care.
